The mission of First Baptist Church's Youth Ministry is to reach our city for Christ by teaching our students to live out their faith: in their service, in their conduct, and in their values.

Weekly Activities:

Sunday School, Meets every Sunday morning at 9:45am upstairs in the youth room for fellowship, announcements and prayer before going to class.

Wednesday Night Youth, Meets every Wednesday night upstairs in the youth room from 6:30pm-7:30pm.  This is our youth orientied praise and worship service with music led by our youth praise team and Bible study led by Brandon.  Games, prizes and fun are always mixed in during our Wednesday nights.

Special Events:

Falls Creek, Falls Creek is the largest Youth Camp in the Nation, and also has the largest ropes course in the US. Since 1917, Falls Creek has been challenging believers to go deeper in their walk with Christ and challenging the person who does not know Christ to give their life to Jesus. Falls Creek is for any student that has completed 6th-12th grade. We will be attending week 4 (June 22-26), speaker for our week is Ronnie Hill and Kyle Cantrell will be leading the music.  For more information contact Brandon or go to www.skopos.org

Super Summer, This is a five-day leadership camp for 7th-12th graders. Super Summer emphasizes discipleship and evangelism and equips students to go home to their own groups to become more effective leaders in these areas. The camp takes place at Oklahoma Baptist University June 8-12. Students must go through an interview process with the youth minister and youth leaders to determine if they are eligible for the camp.  For more information contact Brandon or go to www.supersummerok.com

Mission Projects,Throughout the year we have G-513 Days which are one day service projects completed in our area.  We also take the youth on a mission trip each year. This year during spring break (Mar. 14-20) we are going to work with Mission Arlington (located in Arlington, TX) which is the largest apartment ministry in the U.S. our mission team will be doing backyard Bible clubs and various work projects.

Disciple Now Weekend, Disciple Now Weekend takes place in February from Friday through Sunday. The youth are split into home-groups and will stay in the homes of church members. During this time they will have in-home Bible study led by guest leaders, recreation and also large group worship services.

Regular Activities:

Game Nights, Every couple of months we spend an evening hanging out in our youth room playing our favorite board games.  Keep an eye out on the calendar for the next game night.

Lunch-N-Movie, This is a fun activity where we celebrate school being out by meeting at Pizza Hut for lunch then travel back to the youth room where we continue to fellowship while watching a movie.
