At First Baptist Church we want to help you find your place and connect with a ministry that helps you to be fulfilled and use the gifts and talents that God has given to you. We have many opportunities for you to be involved with the First Baptist Family. Don’t wait on us to ask you let us know that you are available!  Here are some ways and how to start your journey at FBC:

 1. Bible Study Groups are available for all ages every Sunday morning at 9:45am. Show up and we will get you to the right study group.

2. Every Sunday Morning after the Bible Study hour, there is a time to gather as family to express our Love to God. This includes praise, prayer, thanksgiving, and teaching from the Bible. It is for everybody, but the kids, about midway through the service, pull aside for Sunday Morning Live. This is their special time with God.

3. We offer a Discovery Class to let you know what it means to be a child of God and a member of FBC. We believe that every person that has accepted Christ as Lord and Savior should be a member of His Church. This class is generally offered once a quarter and will be announced on our calendar.

4. Life Groups are designed to help everybody have friends and grow spiritually together. They meet in homes every other Sunday night for fellowship, prayer, and a special emphasis. New homes, host, and leaders are always needed. Check our calendar for dates.

5. Wednesday nights are a great chance to refresh yourself for the week. Once again there is something for all ages. Focus for Adults, Wednesday Night Youth, Kids meet for the missions organizations Royal Ambassadors for boys and Girls in Action for girls.

6. You want to be stretched on your journey? God does that through mission opportunities here in Watonga, in the State of Oklahoma, in the USA and in other parts of the world. We have a three year partnership to start a church planting movement in the Valley area of Quito, Ecuador. Other opportunities will become available. We call it serving the world through Acts 1:8.  These are not just chances to attend, but opportunities to connect to vital minitries. You can do that by getting in contact with one of our staff and letting them know of your interest, or on a Sunday when you are visiting us you can detach the side of the bulletin, fill it out, and place it in the offering plate to let us know of your interest or need. One of our staff will then contact you.
