Welcome to First Baptist Church - Watonga,OK.  We believe we have a unique purpose in the community of Watonga.

A part of that purpose is to get to know our friends and neighbors just like you.  We hope that as you explore our website that you find the information about our church helpful and the website user friendly.  We welcome your comments.

Let's begin with some information about FBC Watonga.  We are a Southern Baptist Church that has been in exsistence for over 100 years in Watonga.  In this time the church has always sought to have an impact on this community with the Message of Jesus Christ.

You may ask what is this good news message.  Well the good news is Jesus is real.  That means that not only did He have everything to do with your conception and reason for living - He wants you to know all about what that means.  God created everyone with a distinct purpose and even though life throws a lot of different hurts and difficulties our way Jesus has the power to turn everything in our lives around.  He can turn your life around no matter where you find yourself.  You see when you understand that Jesus can do everything the Bible says He can you discover that not only does He love you and want to forgive you, He also wants you to live your life as John 1:12 says; an "adoptive child of God."

At FBC Watonga everything we do revolves around one simple purpose.  That purpose is see everyone of our members to become FULLY DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST.  We recognize that only when Christ is in control of our lives do our lives trully make sense. 

Let me be the first to invivte you to come and join a bunch of people on this mission.  We aren't perfect, nor do we pretend to have it all together.  We simply believe that Jesus Christ makes all the difference in our lives.  We would welcome you come along on this journey with us.
