WHAT ARE LIFE GROUPS?

Life Groups are one of our unique ministries at FBC Watonga.  These groups which meet in our members homes are designed to help people get to know one another, enjoy fellowship together and share needs.  The essence of these groups is to make building relationships within FBC very easy.  Fact: everyone needs to be loved and everyone needs to love other people.  We have found that Life Groups offer the opportunity for people to get plugged into very meaningful relationships that are centered around our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Life Groups meet twice monthly on Sunday evening (times vary according to group) which usually leaves a couple of Sunday evenings open for time with your own family.  In addition to the time with family we use the remaining Sunday evenings in the month to offer rotating studies on various topics that are relevant in helping people grow in there relationship with Christ, understand Biblical principles for finances, marriage, raising children etc.

As our Life Group ministry grows we will offer groups that meet just about every night of the week.  We look forward to when this will become a reality because we know so many have hectic schedules and Sunday is not always the best day of the week for certain people to be able to join in.

Let me encourage you to check out this ministry - It is very easy to get started.  Simply fill out one of the response cards in the bulletin at our Sunday Morning Worship Experince (write in more information on life groups) and drop it in the offering plate -  You may also call (580)623-5158 and ask for more information about Life Groups meeting in your area.  Someone will contact you shortly thereafter and let you know details on meeting time, place and leader information.
