Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the key values in our church is serving. We believe God has called us to serve the entire world and that begins right here in our own community. You will find here a list and brief description of areas of ministry and service we currently offer. We as a church family are always looking for new ministry opportunities as the Lord leads us.

Sunday School
This is our primary small group and Bible study ministry in our church, we have classes for everyone from the nursery to senior adults and all points in-between.  Every week we have people who come together to fellowship, pray, encourage and study God’s word together. Join one of our many classes and begin to walk together with fellow believers and deepen your relationship with Christ.

Praise Team
God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Our praise and worship each week is led by church members with a love for the Lord and a desire and ability to lead His people to Worship Him.

Dwell Student Ministry (Middle School and High School Student Ministry)
Our student ministry meets each Wednesday night for a time of praise and worship and Bible study, all with a bit of fun and games sprinkled in as well. In addition to the mid-week meeting our student ministry is active with special events and activities throughout the year; including various camps and retreats, service projects, dodge-ball tournaments, Tuesday morning Bible studies, group OKC Thunder & Dodgers games and other events as well.

Children’s Ministry
Following along with the school year we offer TeamKid, a mid-week children’s discipleship program, which combines fun & exciting activities along with high-impact Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, and life application.

Young at Heart (YAH)
This is our senior adults ministry group. Our YAH group has a monthly fellowship which usually meets over brunch or lunch and typically involves a program or presentation as well.  The YAH group also takes part in many different day-trips and activities throughout the year

Crisis Ministry
This is a brand new ministry opportunity for our church, we have recently outfitted our campus with generators so we can operate as a community shelter, feeding center or warming station in the event of a natural disaster in our area. Our church has a shower facility, large kitchen and plenty of space.  We also have been partnered with the American Red Cross to serve as a disaster shelter. We hope and pray this is a ministry that is never needed however if the needs arises we will be ready to serve and love those in need.

Men’s Ministry
Currently we offer short term Men’s Bible studies as well as occasional men’s retreats and fellowship activities.

Women’s Ministry
Our women’s ministry is involved with Watonga’s annual “Ladies Night Out” each fall in addition to doing occasional women’s Bible studies and activities as well.
